The 555 Able Soldier and Family Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by military families and retired military members. The fund's purpose is to provide goods and services for the families of soldiers killed in action, the soldiers wounded in action and their families as they recover in hospitals and the deployed soldiers and their families. This fund was created to provide financial support for the soldiers and families of the 555th Engineer Brigade - (the Triple Nickel).

The 555th Engineer Brigade, known as the Triple Nickel, has been stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, since 1992. It consists of combat engineers, construction engineers, chemical corps, and explosive ordinance disposal soldiers. The motto of the Triple Nickel, Willing and Able, reflects its long and honored tradition of taking on whatever mission the Nation requires. The radio call sign of the Triple Nickel is "Able". Able Soldiers are on the forefront of the war on terrorism.

Donated monies will provide for a number of vital soldier and family support activities: flower arrangements for hometown funerals and installation memorial services; memorial service receptions, keepsake memory boxes, pre and post deployment activities, reading material and sundries for hospitalized soldiers, guest speakers, transportation services and the traditional gold star memorial flag just to name a few.
